The 49th day marking the passing of Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche occurred on the 19th of October 2011. People from all over the world gathered in Kathmandu to offer their respects to Kyabje Rinpoche and make aspirations in the presence of the Kudung. The Mindrolling Ladrang was represented by Venerable Lama Riga who made offerings to the Kudung and the thousands of practitioners gathered there on behalf of Mindrolling Sangyum Kushog and Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche.
Her Eminence Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche and Jetsün Dechen Paldrön could not arrive on the 19th due to the Athens strikes in Greece but arrived soon after to offer their respects to Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche whose kindness to them and the entire sangha of Mindrolling is immeasurable. Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche also met with and offered her respects and condolences to Solpönla Ngawang Choephel Gyatso, the nephew of Kyabje Rinpoche , and Their Eminences Khyents Jigme Rinpoche and Tulku Pema Wangyal Rinpoche.
